Best way to ship a small-ish canvas from UK to US, by set0312 on Dec 31, 2021 7:30:16 GMT 1, I know this doesn't quite fit this sub-forum, but does anybody have advice on how to ship a canvas from the UK to the US without involving an art courier? The piece is well under 5k, I'd rather not pay a ton in shipping as well....

Although itโll only be cheap if you send it with no insurance, which is obviously risky.
But a canvas is less likely to be damaged than paper.

Iโve only done it once, but worked fine.
