Not historically, and I don't believe now either. I wouldn't touch Obama or Liberte, but other than that would be fine picking up almost anything on ebay.
There was one large format print that was booted back in the day, all with same numbering, but for the life of me I can't remember which one it was. I do know that it stood out because there had been so little bootlegging of Fairey.

Make sure they have good history and feedback - Look at past products sold so you can see that what they are selling fits their profile. You can always message the seller and ask for a copy of their invoice - I've done that previously.

Shepardโs signature has certainly evolved through the years but it is also extremely consistent given a point of time. If youโre looking for a 2010 print look at 2010 signatures and you should be able to have a comfort level that the print is legit, just confirm with the seller that you are receiving the actual print that is pictured in the listing.
