Damien Hirst, The Empresses H10, by Poster Bob on Jan 28, 2022 21:01:10 GMT 1, Yes, similar, but this time around you can buy as many as you want. Anyone looking for a quick flip should compare the sales results of the NHS prints (1 per person but a better image) to Fruitful & Forever (unlimited but a worse image). It may take quite a while for them to appreciate as a result. Virtues was also buy as many as you want, no? Imho I don’t think you can compare these to NHS or Fruitful. Those aren’t nearly as striking as these(I’ve got all 4 and they’re not making the wall). Are there any similar in size and style, timed Heni, Hirst editions that we can compare them to? As per my post, no, The Virtues clearly were limited to 1 per person. You must compare purchase limitation because the people who want to buy more than one for profit are flippers and galleries. Allowing them to purchase more than one means these should take longer to mature in price. In a way, it should also be looked at as an unlimited The Currency with a three-year burn period. There are no direct comparisons to make, and my generalization may certainly be a bit off.

Damien Hirst, The Empresses H10, by Dubman on Jan 28, 2022 21:22:16 GMT 1, Its a no brainer, I like the artwork, like DH and they will definitely increase in value over time. I'll hang and display NFT - love the diversity of it all. This is a dangerous one. So many people will jump in after regretting missing the virtues. My mate just bought 10 10 is excessive IMO - but still an investment that will increase, so better than keeping it in the bank. I've bought to hang the physical/s at home and work and the NFT on a digital picture frame. I think that there is value and its worth collecting the early DH NFT's - in a few years time the marketplace will be flooded with digital art from most of the blue chip artists and this work and 'the currency' will be the pioneers.

Damien Hirst, The Empresses H10, by Riotcops on Jan 28, 2022 21:23:35 GMT 1, Everyone who questioned whether or not Virtues would appreciate saw what happened there. I feel people were hesitant with virtues and generally bought because they liked them. This is gonna bring out all the sharks. I predict people are looking at these like 200% immediate profit and secondary is going to be absolutely flooded. The NFT element just adds on even more.
That said, I quite like 2 and 4 and will likely buy to hold onto.

I don’t think you can actually display the nft, it’s just a redemption certificate for the original . It’s not intended as an artwork in itself like their other nft drops

Damien Hirst, The Empresses H10, by Universal Dav on Jan 28, 2022 21:30:47 GMT 1, These are really nice. I have a big wall that has a long radiator under it in my new house, been thinking about what to put on it and these pop up! Anyways, regardless of resale potential in the future these are obviously a great purchase. Personally I’ll go for a physical.

Damien Hirst, The Empresses H10, by Happy Shopper on Jan 28, 2022 21:40:48 GMT 1, Pretty stunning images. Why go for the NFT? If you're in the UK, and on the fence about whether you'd hang the print or try to resell in the future... or just want to flip it... if you buy the NFT there's no VAT added.

Before I read this I was thinking about who are buying these at the said increased prices?. Granted you see them sitting in online galleries and on ebay with crazy asking prices, but are they being bought or just sat in peoples portfolios forever?
Also for the previous release people had lots of money to spend, now covid spending on assets is slowing it seems?. Investors currently getting smashed as the shares, crypto, eft's etc. falling markets. Will this affect the numbers? How many sold in the last releases?
Back to the art. These certainly do have the wow factor, the colour and the glitter look amazing.

Indeed! But to the untrained eye it could get people more excited about potential.
I imagine the edition numbers will be huge
Gotta respect Mr Hirst for his commercial savvy

Videos on the Heni website make them look great though. H10-4 is my favourite.
Will I buy? Probably not this time as I’ve got my eye on buying small originals in 2022.
