Correct but these are miles better than any Hirst Heni editions. But of the year for me

If flippers get the sense early on that these will drop below cost, they will just cancel their order, get the refund and move on to the next thing to flip. This will leave those that want the piece to enjoy it and / or are in it for the long term return.

At least you get a extremely cool piece of art to keep if these do drop for any reason. I don't understand the perverse pleasure anyone could get out of puffing or doom saying an art release. You can see a detailed depiction of them in the videos, there are 5 distinct variations to choose from, and the interesting NFT wrinkle. Life is all about choices and we all have to make our own.

As with all Hirst editions, there is no shortage of buyers for them. Money to be made however long you hold for, but the longer you hold, the higher the values rise.
Plenty of negativity when virtues got released, now look at the price just 12 months on. FWIW, I think these images are just as nice as virtues, if not nicer.
Happy to buy these for under cost if anyone is selling - physical only though please, NFT isn't for me 😄.

The only hype I’ve really seen here is anti hype about possible lower resale value. If you’re posting on this thread now and you didn’t purchase, why are you even following this? Praying they flop (let’s be honest they won’t) to alleviate your regret or some sort of morbid curiosity to see what you may have lost out on?

Why not get an NFT on the marketplace and redeem it ASAP? It seems like this is exactly the circumstance the NFT was designed for.

If you search Hirst Empresses you'll find 9 or 10. The undercutting is starting, lowest I've seen is £8k at the moment.

Quite an old piece now, the balls get discoloured (so to speak), looks dated.
That said I think these were originally invites, so maybe they were free, and Gagosian sold the remainder.
I've seen Hirst The Magnificent Seven go for less than retail many times, it's the 7 screenprinted ping pong balls, in a signed box, Gagosian was still selling them for £1k last year, but they pop up for less. Quite an old piece now, the balls get discoloured (so to speak), looks dated.
