Shepard Fairey prints.....can anyone identify them, by mcgill14 on Feb 16, 2022 15:59:43 GMT 1, Hi Folks
I received 5 prints from Shepard Fairey yesterday for the auction, which is awesome, but they didn't include any print info. I have managed to identify 3 of them by trawling the Obey print archive. Is there anyone out there who can tell me what either of these prints is called?

Shepard Fairey prints.....can anyone identify them, by bsharp on Feb 16, 2022 16:11:23 GMT 1, The title of the first piece is called Dove Ripped. It was sent as a holiday print in 2020.
The second one is the red/gold version of the holiday print from 2021. There is also a red/blue and a blue/black version of that image.

I've googled Shepard Fairey Holiday Print 2021, Shepard Fairey Red / Gold holiday print 2021 and the same but replacing Shepard Fairey with OBEY. I can find nothing but maybe that's because I'm an old bloke.
Any young whipper snappers out there who can give me a link to the info on the second print?

Holiday prints are issued and sent out by Shepard to friends and family each year, somewhat in secret. Along with the print is usually a piece of paper wishing the recipient a happy and healthy year ahead, but the title of the print or information about it is not included.
Since it is the beginning of the year, not a lot of time has passed since the edition was sent out to recipients.
We often don't learn the title or edition variants until either a fine art piece with the same image comes out, or until all the editions are shared through forums or social media. The Obey Giant website is not often updated with non-public releases, so I wouldn't count on being able to find any info there. (For example, Burrard Mandala is a print from 2020 that still isn't on the Obey site.)

Didn't know that a red version was printed. But lost of the time the holiday prints came in 2 version. One for the obey studio and one for the obey clothing. I think the red one is the obey clothing holiday of the year.
