Not only are the two items fake, they are terrible fakes — and obviously inauthentic.

The fact this wasn't immediately clear to you is one reason why I'd strongly recommend staying away from the Keith Haring market until you've acquired a great deal more experience.

Because, at this stage, your eye is desperately untrained. It should at least be generally familiar with Haring's hand-styles and line work. Even more so, your eye should be able to recognise the kind of movements that Haring's hand never made.

Assuming the people you purchased from do exist, they probably saw you coming. For them, you may have been but a mark.

If I were a full-time or occasional fraudster in the Haring market, I too might claim to have met the artist. ["He was really sweet, by the way. Very generous with his time. He even answered a bunch of my silly questions. And what a talent! It's nothing short of a tragedy that he died so young."]

With studied nonchalance, I'd also indicate that the artificially-aged paintings on my walls were canvases that a family member had acquired "directly from Keith" in the early 1980s.

My suggestion would be to buy a few books on Haring and visit museums whose collections include his art. Then put in the serious work to better hone your intuition.
