Wagner troops are apparently being airlifted out of Belarus too. Id have a feeling they may be feeling a little pissed off!

I was sttill looking for proof it wasnt all just a game they were playing. Im not convinced prigoshin was playing this game anymore. Assuming he WAS on the plane. Or a Wagner false flag It's an interesting one, and you could certainly see scenarios where Putin had him killed, OR Prigozhin fakes his own death so he can disappear and live the life of a quiet dude of wealth somewhere. But Prigozhin, certainly in the last several months, didn't come across as a guy who would go away quietly. Maybe that was the problem. |

There is always hope. I was wondering post-exile to Belarus, how long the money was going to be flowing into Vagner group. At some point, it was going to be a problem and I thought this was signaled by their movements to Africa this week. Run out of money with mercenaries and you have a whole lot of problems. Either way, assuming he was on the plane, it was an 'inside' job. |

This whole, whatever you want to call it, is not going to end well (unless, of course, it does). I have been wondering how far off a collapse of the RU economy is. It is really going to be timed poorly to positively influence any outcome given the fact that pretty much every large economy in the world is on the brink of entering an overdue recession. |

As you say, other economies play a big part in this, however since China is looking like its going to crash too, thats probably a lot of money Russia wont be getting anymore.China are about to go thanks to their insane attitude to house ownership, Evergrande is the biggest player, and the first pin to go over. All conjecture and opinion, but yeah, sketchy times in Putins head. He seems to be a little uneasy too, his public persona is not so confident anymore.

And your right, its kinda happening later than they hoped id guess. But that said, this Prigoshin gig, is possibly going to cause more issuesinside russia, and doesnt help his Ukraine plan as Wagner were the one winning territory and handing it to Russian troops to lose. He was a fortune fighter, Africa is all about mineral rights for them, they were profiting off the gold diamonds and whatever else was on the land they "helped". When they raided his house in St Petersburg, they took something insane like 400 million dollars, then gave it back! But yes, pretty fair to assume the wages bill wasnt being paid by Putin anymore. |
