Forum Auction prices 3 March 2020, by JFCC on Mar 3, 2022 16:42:05 GMT 1, The results were pretty good or but not amazing but it felt a bit disappointing and I am sorry to say but this felt a very tired format.
Two lots, Monkey Queen u/s and GWB u/s, both made more at Bonham’s who have not had a great reputation for getting the highest prices of late which said it all.
Bonham’s huge and slightly random auction however felt more engaging and had a significantly better atmosphere. I do really rate Forum as an auction house but it’s time for a rethink as I would not sell or recommend someone to sell in this type of format. Sorry just my view!
