I'm in the middle of some house renovations and in my extension, looking at getting the builder to put in wiring for a couple of picture lights. Has anyone got any advice on these in terms of where to get them from, styles etc etc?

I have found www.lights.co.uk pretty good?
Used them for ceiling lights, 'fairy lights', and 'spot lights, and always been really good?
Not entirely sure what affect you are aiming for, but know they offer directional spot lights etc?
They have a pretty decent selection, and the customer service helpful if you need to call.

I'm going for those little rectangular picture lights that sit above the picture. They have them, so I'll see how they compare with others out there.

I saw those Ecudat, and as you say, worth a try. I have found their returns/customer service very good if you are not happy.
I bought quite a few ceiling recessed spotlights from them which I was very happy with. When choosing, noticed directional ones which I thought was a good idea to highlight things etc.
