Sales above $10k, by klaus69 on Apr 11, 2022 13:41:53 GMT 1, Trust. Bank Transfer. Check the person you are dealing with / does he have a Linkedin account / I made a few big transfers here and it all went really very good. For a very big transfer I used www.escrow.com but in retrospective it was not necessary and costly...

Sales above $10k, by Lazarus II on Apr 11, 2022 14:02:24 GMT 1, Made a number of reasonably big ticket purchases on here in last 10-12 years without knowing or ever having spoken to the seller, all based in UK. All done by bank transfer; buy the seller before you consider buying what they are selling.

Sales above $10k, by RoboJ on Apr 11, 2022 14:39:02 GMT 1, Always in person and only with bank transfer. If you're the seller make 100% sure your buyer is happy and sign a receipt saying they have inspected it first. If you're a buyer, go and see it in person and make sure you're 100% happy before sending a bank transfer.
All back ground things such as checking authenticity can be done prior to meeting. I hope this helps.

Sales above $10k, by ricardob on Apr 11, 2022 23:55:12 GMT 1, I’ve sold a 40k+ print to someone on the other side of the planet and I got a bank transfer. I sent many photos of it, gave my address so the buyer could organise the pick up and used a pelican case to protect the tube (a bit of an over kill 😂😂😂). PC certificate was sent after the buyer received the print. I think that if the seller is upfront and willing to go the extra mile to for example, send you a video of the artwork and references, it should be fine.
