Removing yellow varnish from oil painting, by JockoLad on Apr 22, 2022 21:11:45 GMT 1, I just wondered if there was anyone who had experience with removing yellow varnish from an oil painting. I have 11 in total and cannot afford to fix them all. So I was thinking I may try one as I am dying to see the true colour. Let me know please!
Iโm no expert but Iโd go with turps.

Baumgartner is one of the best. Iโve used him a couple times and have been mesmerized by videos too. Wealth of knowledge there.
