With all due respect did you even see the CYW, it was absolute trash. Completely ruined by sun damage, it's amazing it got £80k. Have a look for yourself.
I do agree with you this format of Banksy only auctions is tiresome and much like the pieces at auction they are usually damaged and the only way to move them is put them up at auction.

I think they have always been very easy to deal with, they employed good high quality individuals and were good at marketing as a positive alternative to the big houses which made them attractive to sellers. Their selling fees were lower and they used to have a good catalogue.

I cannot disagree its a poor print but even so worth only half or a third is a big discount. Banksy collectors are vey picky about quality (I am as well) but realistically in the fullness of time this becomes less relevant as we have all seen with many other artists such as Warhol etc. I personally expected it to get through the £100K pretty easily! Long term good value? Just a view!

Not sure which it is. The description is yellow. However, as it’s mentioned on the CYW perhaps the condition is not as sure as presumed, which makes the price achieved even worse.

The condition report is as follows:

The yellow background is attenuated, it fades from the upper right to the lower left corner of the – as stated on the Pest Control Certificate of Authenticity. The corners are sharp. Some very slight rippling to the sheet. A small handling crease in the lower left margin, other very minor handling creases in places in the margins. Not sure on what basis you say that? The statement is pretty clear unless Forum are making up what PC have stated clearly on the COA?

ive never seen a new style coa close up but i would have thought they’d still have hand written number in black ink like the old style. Looks photoshopped to me but the person that posted it is a well known banksy dealer so would seem strange if its fake.
