Invader Part III Book + Exhibition?, by Brice on Jun 18, 2022 20:24:21 GMT 1, "From June 23 to July 23, Franck Le Feuvre and Jonathan Roze present "Invader: Part 3", the third part of a series of exhibitions, initiated in 2011, devoted to Invader.
The gallery, which represented the artist in France between 2009 and 2015, first co-organised, alongside Invader, the 1000 exhibition in 2011. Celebrating the 1000th mosaic by Invader stuck in the streets of Paris, the exhibition was held both at La Gรฉnรฉrale โ where you could see the Rubik's Cubes as well as several installations โ at the same time as at the gallery where the Alias โโoccupied the space.
In 2017, when the official collaboration between the artist and the gallery had already ended, the gallery organized Invader: Masterpieces following the discovery of four unpublished ceramics on panel, dated 1997. These mosaics, among the very first works of 'Invader, formed the backbone of an exhibition highlighting a selection of major works by the artist. Although Invader was not a stakeholder in the exhibition, the gallery was still able to rely on its intervention for the restoration of the four mosaics from 1997 which, at the time of their discovery, had just passed twenty years outside.
June 2022. Five years after Invader: Masterpieces, the gallery is pleased to present Invader: Part 3, an exhibition unveiling a series of symbolic works, representative of the artist's work: Rubik's cubes, Alias, unique pieces, Guides d invasion with micro-ceramics, Invasion kits...

Don't like how they have that perspex over them ๐ looks like an afterthought? Maybe they were worried about them getting damaged?

Friend picked one up for me and they're being quite strict on only allowing one per person. Edition of 1500.

The smallest Rubik piece is 130kโฌ.
And the 9 mosaic covered guides are 750kโฌ for the lot.
