About the artist:
Originally from New York City, TMNK rose to prominence painting murals in Wynwood and South Beach that juxtaposed images of gritty urban life with statements of love, tenderness, and hope. He routinely showed fine-art pieces in Miami, New York City, and European countries including Germany. TMNK was a local-level street artist that got famous very quickly. It has been suggested that he battled with anxiety and depression, and in 2016, TMNK committed suicide. After his passing, TMNK’s precious pieces of original artwork have skyrocketed in value.
