Yesterday no one here seemed interested in buying, everyone passing, today many complaining because they couldn't get it. What did you expect? 5000 copies of an Invader work? It was a foregone conclusion that many would go without. We are talking about one of the best in the scene. Point one. The ones who make me laugh the most are those who complain that it is expensive. Okay, it probably is, no doubt it is. But isn't 100€ just as expensive for a set of posters from his latest exhibition? Isn't a paper print of his at 1500€ just as expensive? What are we talking about? Really the cost of realization? I find a set of posters, in unlimited quantity, much, much more expensive in proportion at the figure I mentioned above. In the end here we are talking about a vinyl sculpture, made to reach most people. Would you prefer an edition of 500 signed by hand? Yes, probably me too. But of course the price would not have been that. I think he did a good job, the sculpture or expensive toy for haters, looks really well done. For those complaining about the price, I have never seen anything from Invader go below the release price. I am sure in a few years we will look at this €500 as a bargain. My experience with the site was pleasant, I logged on 15 minutes early, and as soon as the queue started I was in line at seat 250. With the pre-registered data in 5 minutes I completed the check out. I look forward to putting this little sculpture next to my red version of Alert 2020. Congratulations to everyone on the forum who managed to get it, for those who didn't, no anger, there will be another opportunity. I honestly don't expect many versions of this type yet, but Invader always knows how to keep us on our toes.

I really would appreciate someone with an extra one reaching out to me. I am in Texas USA
i was on the site at the moment the hour countdown started on my MacBook and my phone, later on got my daughter to get in line on her phone. Frustrating is a HUGE understatement. I don’t want this for a flip I just liked it, was only going for one…. End Rant 😢

There will be plenty more of these releases coming! He will easily clear a €1m on each release and get his works into many more peoples hands…I think this easily could become kaws2.0 but with more transparency on the actual released edition numbers than the mystery amounts Kaws releases…

If he floods the market with more and more high-numbered editions, it’s going to dilute the value of his works.
I too am hoping this is a one-off as an edition of 5000 is high and similar to the editions of the book releases that don’t end up holding up as much value as his prints, invader kits and originals.
Still a cool sculpture to have, but I wouldn’t expect this to sky rocket in value any time soon.

Its engraved on the original mould.
