If you had paid them, then fair enough to be unhappy. But the gallery arent responsible for customs charging you this time. You should probably just pay it, the gallery arent actually doing anything wrong here. I didn't get hit the first time as I paid 80$ to ship it which included duty. Just annoying/not fair that I've got to pay again through no fault of mine.

Im not sure what the situation is now post brexit. They will have a form on their website. Good luck

I, too, was billed for $50 "duties and taxes". Can't remember if I paid import charges on top of that when it arrived in the UK. $50 is a strange amount - basically 10% of the retail price. That doesn't tie in with any kind of HMRC tariff. So I still don't know what Musart were doing there. It's annoying, I know, but sometimes I think you just have to suck it up and end up paying over the odds. It's still a cheap price for an Invader piece. |
