Faile are my favorite urban street artists for sure and my first (real)? art purchase(besides a few comics and thrift store bric a brac, black/light felt prints etc.) I was living just outside San Francisco area early 2000’s and tourist-like stumbled into 24sf after having the best ever falafel sandwich on Haight street! I was blown away by this 2005/2006 show never had seen art like that before. I bought a piece for my then girlfriend and one piece on wood for myself. I think I paid 50-100 dollars for each of them? I’ve been watching Faile since then and have purchased a few prints on secondary. I feel they are hit or miss on their print choices, similar to Shep. I think they sometimes put out quantity over quality? Overall, I still love them as artists and can’t resist when I see one of their raw originals for sale… maybe it’s just sentimental for me. not trying to hype them up PerSe? Cheers.
