1. May I ask whether you acquired the Che Guevara poster yourself at London's Notting Hill Carnival in 2004?
If so, where exactly at the Carnival were these posters given away?

But I have two Ebay auctions of Che saved, one from 2006 and one from 2011. The one from 2011 have totally different borders, but the 2006 one is very similar. The pic is very low res and there are no measurements so a bit hard to tell.
Again: I don't believe mine or this is original, but I've seen a lot stranger things in the Banksy world.

Even if they did provide assurance on posters, they would ask the same questions asked on here (and more) and as they cannot be answered then PC assurance would not be provided.

I have had a response from PC at 19.44 this evening and they have confirmed it is NOT legitimate. For anyone wanting to dance on my grave, at least I was honest enough to seek answers and truthful enough to share them! When they were given away at '04 NH carnival I was told they were real Banksy prints and I believed the Intel I was given. lazarus, I mentioned where I got them from in the intial thread.
The '04 Nottinghill Carnival part was true. I'm being transparent.
I apologise for any disappointment caused, it was not my intention to mislead anyone. Looks like I have an old copy on my hands and I quite like it, im happy to hang it on my own wall.

Really think itโs pretty shameful the way they pretend to be a force for good protecting the consumer when in reality itโs just an organisation setup to control the market and extract maximum ARR and maintain prices when there is abundant supply. All I would say is that you donโt need to be an expert to know this is clearly not authentic. |
