I'm not sure if it's just a dodgy perspective or just me but I can't un-see it.

What shocks me about these is the price point. Originals at her last show at Thinkspace were more or less cheaper than these. I guess she had a lot of success last time she sold direct via IG (for $5k a pop) and wanted to test the demand. Will be interested to see if these all clear for 12k

It does, however, look like a big increase ... what is it based on ? Also, zero evolution on these ... these could be from 2021 or the year before ...

Maybe to put themselves into a different bracket of Artists?
Rather than prices and values in Hundreds, they want it to be in Thousands ๐ it's a risky game to play, but I guess it's paid off for some, so it tempts other artists to try.

For the past year I had to give up easel work due to an arm injury and thought, why not use the drafting table and get back to what is probably my favorite medium; inks and watercolours! There is nothing like it, a medium that you can and cannot control all at once, a dance between intuition and knowledge. And that's what I did. They do look great, are easy, and nice sized pieces. I'd wait for the print set. She does look like she has some promising projects coming up, specifically that mask. Hopefully she is spending a little more on production on the 3D stuff this time around. Those busts were a bust.
