IDEA • Polymer Money Art Currency , by Daniel Silk on Aug 10, 2022 8:23:00 GMT 1, I was just sorting through threads about the Banksy Did Faced £10 Notes and it got me thinking. Imagine if an artist went to the companies that produce those new Polymer Bank Notes and got their own Money or Currency made 😉 Of course it would be expensive to start, and the order would probably need to be huge. Imagine then setting up a website that then sold the notes, at a set price, maybe £10 or £50 each. They would become almost like a new currency, they could have some sort of continuous tracking of the value compared to other currency, or maybe the price could vary depending on how many are sold each day? £10 minimum, with the price going up as more are sold. I'm sure you can all think of lots of different things you could do with something like this.
Like you could exchange the money for art?
The good thing is that those polymer notes would be incredibly difficult to fake, so what better way to release a piece of Art on or as a polymer note?
