Appears theres no limit on how many you can purchase either. Hmmm, seems like he knows the intentions of some already. Either that or trying to add some false importance to the supply and demand of the whole currency philosophy. I suspect these will go only one way with people trying to sell for less than cost once they realise. It's a small edition really, so I can see these going for between 5-10k each within the next year or two. I suspect a lot of galleries will be hoovering all these up thinking they could be 10-20k in ten years time.

They could release these tomorrow and they'd sell out in minutes. But a month of applicants on top of what they already have, wow. That's some list they have to leverage. |

Firstly the negatives as you seem to prefer those - these prints are giclees which some people hate as a medium. And they are not hand painted like the Currency works.
BUT in terms of positives they are all unique, hand signed on the front in different colours and are a whopping 100cm x 150cm in size. Framed up there's no question these will look decent and could dominate a room/wall. And as Daniel Silk said I think instantly worth 5 or 10 times the price paid.
The Emperesses was always going to be a big edition and cost more than this. With these you only pay if you win and if you win you already have a print you know is worth more than $1000, hence you will have a huge number of people entering IMHO.
