Just to even things up a bit. At least not make it all about those that are already holders. I will register my interest like everyone and hope for the best, I just don't like the idea it is weighted in favour of people that are already quite lucky to have got one.

This will reduce some of the time wasters, bots and especially those with multiple email accounts as you have to include your billing address. Should make it a tad fairer.

Am I less deserving of this new print? Ultimately yes I think that you are, as are those of us who took the physical. NFTs trading create income for Heni and Hirst every time they are traded. It makes sense for them to try and encourage people to want the NFTs which are now otherwise pointless at the moment. |

And as most of those will be buying because they don't have a physical Tender I don't think too many will hit secondary market (for a while at least).
Was on the fence, but having seen some mocked up in frames on Discord earlier I think these actually look great.

I think this sort of derivative work is wonderful and important because it reinforces the motif and imagery of the original works (Currency). Having a unique number on the front (with signature) plus each being a unique image, based on a physical work of art which will cease to exist in about 2 weeks time (i.e. Damien's own 1,000 Currencies) makes them more than just photos of existing artworks, I think.

I know what you mean about signed photographs of artworks, rather than artworks in their own right. But The Virtues, Fruitful and Forever (supposedly very close-up photos of Cherry Blossom paintings)... the same applies to them and they look fantastic in their own right. Had been on the fence a little but I like the idea that they support the physical works by adding a layer between.

I do envisage other releases down the line which will be geared towards NFT holders. Damo has been hinting all along that would be the case and yes they do need to keep the game alive somehow.
