The first Mr Dob figures from complexcom took about 2 years to get sorted. I think it is a long wait. 2 years is ridiculous and I don’t like this trend of prints not being ready when released. Call me impatient. Originally told up to 8 weeks for replacements, now 16 weeks. They said it’s due to new improved packaging design. That takes 4 months to sort from when they knew there was an issue with it? I wait…. |

Can’t be too difficult to roll a thin giclee poster in oversized card approx 250gsm/300gsm rather than thin packing paper (so it won’t slide ‘up and down’ to bash the ends like before), put into a similar tube with plastic end caps rather than metal end caps, then tape the end’s down properly. They don’t need to faff with putting Heni logos on packaging if that is adding to the delay. |

There were 3 recently offered here, one below this price one above. I don't know if these were sold but, there was, as far as I can tell, no visible response to them.
If this is representative of a lot hitting the market and not many being sold, selling for 5x cost seems steep indeed. But then again: no idea of the market value [-> see post below]

Should the availability/ release of "The Beautiful Paintings" have any impact on the price of the UP you think? After all, you can get a "unique, signed, 100x100 canvas" for 6k right now - so why should you pay 5 or even 10k for the printout of a photo on (what people called cheap) paper?
(full disclosure: I kinda like them, but could or would not purchase at 5x or 10x a few weeks after release)

Best of luck I’ve had awesome customer service from Avant Arte too after receiving a damaged PINS print, replaced and sent in a wooden crate to Australia within about a week. I had issues with the recent Hirst release and it felt like Heni weren’t bothered, which meant I missed out. Hopefully others have had better experiences with them but agree that Avant Arte set the benchmark |

Apparently ‘beyond their control’. First it was the printing of them, then sourcing improved packaging and now it’s getting Damien to sign them. Obviously nothing Heni could have done about any of these challenges. It would be nice if Heni could take responsibility for events that are completely within their control. And could have been foreseen 5 months ago.
It’s already been over 5 months, so I’ve re-set expectations again. Year end?
