This one is my favourite of all of them, there are some nice ones though. Posters are not for flippers

David Shrigley • New Posters , by ceriseris on Oct 23, 2022 15:01:33 GMT 1, "A Gap In The Clouds" is still available. the screen print version was £3500 on release in an edition of 125. So £42 for an unsigned poster editon of 250 seems crazy cheap

David Shrigley • New Posters , by titian2021 on Oct 23, 2022 22:07:58 GMT 1, I bought ‘I’m in the midst of it’ so am clearly on board but I think these are great value for £50. I’ve got ‘Art will save the world’ which I think paid £1200 from pretty early doors from Wallner for but tbh, yes it’s signed but on the back, no deckled edges etc. and Only ltd to 125 so not that different. After a good framing job not sure it would make that much difference! £50 for a Ltd Ed seems cheap to me in that context. Interesting to see what they go for at Tate Ward et al.

Yes I agree that these are great value but couldn’t get the first one, I think it must have sold out in the shop in Copenhagen yesterday. I like the fact they make these accessible to us poorer collectors. I bought the Shrigley Sam Fender LP cover for £5 and framed it and it looks amazing.

David Shrigley • New Posters , by titian2021 on Oct 23, 2022 23:15:08 GMT 1, I tried to get the first one too. Def the best in my opinion. Reckon it went well on the day and was first to sell out online. I had it in my cart but when it came to pay it had sold out and I logged on in at 3pm exactly. Still, happy to get anything really. All such a bun fight these days. Might be worth looking at Circa art if you haven’t? Not a flippers paradise but some interesting artists and great prices. I’ve bought the Hockney, Alvaro Barrington and Marina Abramovich so far and really happy with all three! Might get this months too. Signed, Turner prize winning artists print for £120? !? Pretty good in todays market!

I don't like so much animals speaking ahaha "It's Just One Fucking Thing After Another" was also my favourite, but I also liked others, such as "Occupy The Space You Are Given". As far as talking animals are concerned, I also have to say that there are no worse films than films with talking animals. With the prints it bothers me a little less, but also. I really only like the penguin: "To hell with zoos - free the penguins first".

Well that was quick - they have got them in their upcoming auction in a few weeks. 🤣 Nothing much exciting as same stuff as always.
