I have only seen one for sale at a gallery on Cambridge but did find out its price or if it sold. A reserve of ยฃ150-200k seems very low for a 50 edition work. Any thoughts on it its likely price?
Personally I'd have put it up at one of the big 4 Auction House who have more of a reach to the few remaining buying HNW collectors? Just a view

I wouldn't be surprised if it gets passed tbh. |

most likely it will not sell, even if I think that in a bull market it can reach 500 gbp plus.
Same way Grappling hook did back some years ago,
first seen for sale at 80 k then a year after more than 200 k
anyone buying the Met ball at 150 will be very happy in 2-3 years time

Auction houses will and do bid up to the low reserve to see if it attracts someone 'real' to bid

If they didn't do this how would they know if a buyer would pay the reserve as they may be the only bidder in the room. |
