Last year it was the currency... Will I one day be lucky with Mr Hirst?!

My contribution, and a couple of contenders for me.
I think it cost me a beer, but a great Forum Member introduced me to Angel Ortiz at the opening night of his fantastic exhibition at D'Stassi Gallery - brilliant that was.
Lovely fella, and he kindly signed my show guide - Angel Ortiz that is, not the Forum Member.
For me though, always liked Beejoir's 'LV Child', and I bought this original stencil. Beejoir kindly confirmed it used to part of the printing desk at Souled Out Studio's -
Would be great to see some more contributions.

I got it framed and the frame has some stains/damage to the plexiglass (left lower) so I need to save up and get it replaced soon!

(Yes, I know there's a whole thread dedicated to it) I didn't buy a lot this year to choose from, but even if I had, the book would still rate right up there. It's gorgeous. It also features my favourite mural painted this year, Rabbit Hole in Le Mans

I haven't framed this since it might get a little lost on my wall, but this little oldie is my favourite buy of this year I think.
Replete from 2012, "Folding Money". Pencil on paper
I'd always wanted one of his drawings of jet fighters (an F22 in this case, he told me), and in reply to a request I made here I was lucky enough to be offered 2 jets, plus 2 other drawings from the same sort of time, one of an M16 rifle which I sold on to another forum member & one of a rearing horse which I will give to my little neice when I see her next.
I haven't framed this since it might get a little lost on my wall, but this little oldie is my favourite buy of this year I think. Replete from 2012, "Folding Money".
