Banksy • frAGILE • Legacy of War Foundation , by Fuzzyduck121 on Mar 16, 2023 16:12:23 GMT 1, Any thoughts on value for this? I'd imagine a lot more than this £15k offer... I'd say right now between £60-80k, possible £100k+ with the COA assuming the market doesn't carry on falling. Anyone who won one of these who isn't a serious collector with serious money will have quite the dilemma to stick or twist. you still saying 60-80k ?

I have offered within that range. I believe its on consignment so he is doing the best by his client.

Banksy • frAGILE • Legacy of War Foundation , by LJCal on Mar 17, 2023 0:40:08 GMT 1, isn’t that site run by someone who posts on here and has commented on this thread ? 🤷🏻♂️ We'll see what the market has to say, I'm not going to talk it up or down right now as I don't want to prejudice the seller and it wouldn't be fair to people making offers. All I would say it the guy is genuine seller and we will be wrapping things up fairly soon I hope. I am also in the process of starting a gallery account here, (which seems to be taken a while to get approved) but obviously going forward that will be where I'll be doing any dealings relating to the gallery.

For what it's worth I spoke to James at Christie's about this piece and he suggested an auction estimate of GBP 80,000-120,000 (USD 100,000-150,000) as the right ballpark, if it were auctioned today with COA.

Yeah, I can't find it now but someone in Discord mentioned a similar estimate from Bonhams.
It's all kind of a moot point though until he/she has the COA in hand. The art market could be a lot different then versus now, whether that means its stronger or weaker. Personally I am waiting for the WCP version for £60.00.

Banksy • frAGILE • Legacy of War Foundation , by caldercontemporary on Mar 27, 2023 23:30:18 GMT 1, Hi all Was fortunate to sell one of these a week ago and have had another consigned off the back of it. If you're looking you know what it is. Will be sold with all paperwork from Legacy of War, packaging, proof of shipping to the buyer and an agreement to forward on the COA following receipt. I've verified the buyers ID and the print and everything is as it should be. We are guiding £88,000 or best offer, the print is being sent to me and I am happy to facilitate a face to face exchange or ship if buyer is comfortable. I appreciate this is not for everyone without the COA and some people will not like the fact it is being sold on, I certainly don't wish to cause any offence but reading the thread on this print, multiple people on here put out an so thought it would be in the sellers interest (and those that expressed an interest in buying) to offer it on UAA. Any questions please ask.

Instead of putting it on the wall are you selling it? All that money? I'm not saying Banksy isn't worth it...but giving that much money to someone, I really think it's not worth it. At least for someone like me.
At this point... since we enjoy seeking satisfaction... why don't we burn it in the square?
You could have a 10 minute comeback in the life of fame.
Hope Banksy doesn't read your advert!... Losing arms after only 4 weeks of this artwork being turned upside down. Bah!

If I had have been lucky enough to win one it would be on my wall but I’m one of the lucky ones who can afford to have a piece of this value and keep hold of it, I think it’s often taken for granted by a lot of art collectors. I totally respect your opinion and the fact that many people who really wanted one didn’t get one, a lot of them Banksy mega fans rich and poor. Here I am the humble middle man but having spoken to a lot of people who won one I would leave you with some old but wise words “never a judge a man until you’ve walked a mile in his moccasins”. I will mention the burning to the owner that would be quite the statement and very punk!

Don’t listen to the people on this forum, go ahead and sell it. I also sold my GDP flower thrower in 2020 and it was a good decision.

*crazy stuff
p.s. read is intermediary. Maybe not the owner, but it doesn't change my thinking on the immediate catapult.

Banksy • frAGILE • Legacy of War Foundation , by lukas01 on Mar 28, 2023 8:44:49 GMT 1, Instead of putting it on the wall are you selling it? The freedom to sell it is yours. You are free to do so.
I would advise you to enjoy it for quite some time yet.
I don't use moccasins. I'm not rich. But f**k... I love the works of Banksy! You catapult them instantly and I think it's a wrong method.
If nobody catapulted Banksy's works so fast, you can be sure that they would come at least 10 times as much!... I think Banksy might be sorry for this reason too!... I think he'd like to see you richer!... But no with only 10% in hand.
Robin Hood stole from the rich to dare the poor. He didn't deal with the rich to get alms. I understand that even almsgiving can feed in a difficult moment. But it's always better to grit your teeth and smile! Life is beautiful!... And we need to smile at him even in times of difficulty.
p.s. read is intermediary?... Maybe not the owner, but it doesn't change my thinking on the immediate catapult.

I think it's better to use the term ''catapult''!... Fantastic those from the Middle Ages!... If I had space at home and the money to buy one I'm sure I would buy one! :-))))

They just happen to have got more than a warm fuzzy feeling for their donation.
