but I thank you for breaking down the piece, I now look at it in a different more meaningful view. its like I have been shown a white bright light!

Banksy • frAGILE • Legacy of War Foundation , by vvk on Dec 10, 2022 1:39:19 GMT 1, How many people are on the Love Welcomes mailing list, for the opportunity to buy a Banksy? And so now Legacy of War Foundation will also suddenly gain a massive mailing list. I dunno if that really translates into many more donations? I would think just the media coverage given by this Banksy release will help them with a huge increase in donations and offers of assistance with their activities in Ukraine. i can tell you now, it has already translated to many more donations. I would of never heard of them if not for the post. Sad but true

Banksy • frAGILE • Legacy of War Foundation , by JW on Dec 10, 2022 1:49:12 GMT 1, Interesting to use an albino rat... I agree at first I thought the choice of a white rat was interesting but then I looked at it a bit more. To me its more a small feeder mouse. The kind you feed to a snake or something. Its clawing its way back up and not ready to give up. I really like this image and the way its displayed. If anyone gets an email for it and does want it--- shoot me a message. Nice take. The optimist in me wants to think the mouse is on the other side of the glass cage and sliding down on its way to freedom... but the scratches aren't quite there yet. Hopefully soon.

Can Banksy (legally) contractually oblige purchasers to donate half the profits of any sale within the next five years to the organization as part of the terms and agreement? That would be an interesting twist.
if he got the blockchain involved (via nft) then he could oblige purchasers if you will. Everytime it was resold he could insure a certain % was tacked on or deducted and go to a place of his choosing including his own pockets or a charity. for example if this raffle was put on the blockchain as a nft which could also serve as the COA, then HE could put on certin actions that triggered during at events / times, if a buyer sells in 1 year then 75% could go to x charity . or selling in 5 years a 5% royalty can go to him. he could also set it to sign away all royalties to the charity so the charity gets paid every-time it gets resold. of course eventually everything can be gamed. but this would probably be the best way to make it a level playing field where everyone (including the flippers and charities and even his decedents win and they could still stay secretive too) He's already come to terms with playing the role of the coin in robinhood, so im sure lining his own pockets is high on his priority list.

Deal?

Sounds cool, but it isn’t possible. That isn’t how blockchains work afaik.

Banksy • frAGILE • Legacy of War Foundation , by Jules Leotard on Dec 10, 2022 3:36:00 GMT 1, Interesting to use an albino rat... From the number of scratches per paw, it has climbed and slid (and clung on) more than once.

Lovely work
The Fr(agile) is a nice touch
Maybe the mouse is trying to tell us how agile he is by clawing those first two letters off
I like it when a simple piece of imagery works on different levels for different people and this sits really well within that
Also as stated above with only 50 it’s less painful to not get one as the chances are less than remote and not worth even trying to compute

I would assume repeat postcodes will be pulled
Based on the amount of entries and the availability your chances are reduced from very very close to zero down to actual zero so I wouldn’t worry about it
If you love the work and hold other works there will always be chances to trade up or down
Suspect based on a hand finished edition of 50 featuring a rodent it will be pegged in value to a radar rat so use that as a guide for future costs (not an exact science but a good guide in my view )
