BAST Popeye black special (ed of 9) and BAST Musk (ed of 4), by disappointed on Dec 11, 2022 16:42:36 GMT 1, Still clearing out prior to a move so these two fine, low edition, BAST prints are up for grabs.

First up is a Musk from an edition of 4 on paper (approx 80cms x 60cms give or take a couple of cos). Two colour screen with heavy silver and orange spray finishing. Signed, numbered and dated on the front.

Nice and messy version of a classic BAST image.









Second is a POW Popeye from the edition of nine on 70cms x 50cms paper.

Single colour screen very heavily finished with black spray background, pink, blue, green, and grey/silver paint; and further embellished with various typical basto symbols (and a love heart tat).

Signed BAST NY on front and BAST 08 on the reverse. It's a pretty striking print in person and the black makes for a much more dramatic image than the regular plain paper editions.















As per the last BAST I sold, it is hard to value low editions that are rarely, if ever, offered publicly so I'd be asking for offers of around £2k on each of them plus shipping (and would recommend an art shipper such as FL for peace of mind or regular couriers at buyer's risk as I've not found one that will insure artworks).

I'll leave this open for a week or so and should any offers come in then the highest can take.
