what do we have to look forward to then ?
many shows coming up ? Anything local to you ? What are your favourite artists up to ? Are you travelling anywhere to go see a show ? Any new editions scheduled for release that you are saving for ?
Whatโs on the horizon ? I could do with something to look forward to with this scene

What are you looking forward to in 2023 , by telmooh on Jan 3, 2023 11:02:15 GMT 1, Happy New Year! Thought it would be nice to contribute to this thread, so here I go.
Not to be sentimental, but I'm mostly looking forward to spending more time with my dad. He got diagnosed with cancer about 20 years ago. Got some treatments which all were succesful and the cancer came back about 7 years ago. He's been getting different treatments that don't seem to work and now we're on the last one which isn't really looking great the doctors said. He got me into the art scene, so I have many things to thank him for. Life's so short and kicks you in the butt sometimes, but we're all trying to enjoy it 200% this year.
On an art level, I'd like to keep my collection growing with adding some bigger names, but also local artists from the Belgian scene. I just got my first Cleon Peterson in the mail yesterday which I'm really happy for and I'm looking forward to continuing my journey here on the forum. Looking forward to meeting new members and doing some great new deals!

What are you looking forward to in 2023 , by its all about me on Jan 3, 2023 13:54:43 GMT 1, I'm looking forward to the Philip Guston exhibition at Tate Modern later this year. There was a lot of controversy over this show and I believe some galleries in the US refused to show it after protests. Hope it goes ahead at Tate.

I think 2023 will be the best year yet on a whole.
As far art, I canโt wait to see what my local museums brings as exhibitions. Mind you, Charlotte NC doesnโt have the best museums, but they do a great job with what they have.
Ohโฆand fingers crossed on Damien Hirstโs/Heniโs Paper VeilsโฆI hope they look at my application for PV#144 and find it appealing!!!
