Youโre ignoring how long it took for all of those prints to sell given how many were readily available, and as a result, the long length of time to appreciate. This is the main issue with Shrigley being so prolific.

If itโs honestly to stop silly secondary prices I could understand, but Iโm sure itโs so more people will go for the 1000 drops a year he does via the galleries ( I like shrigleys art but they are so often itโs hard to get excited about an image). However, if I buy anything in life I own it and can do what I like with it, not sure why it should be different in the art world. Anyway just thought Iโd say as itโs been bugging me for a while
