First and foremost: my views are my own, you have no idea who I am, and should trust me no farther than you can throw me,

Second: don't by a Banksy without Pest Control authentication. As painful as that process can be sometimes. They, and they alone, determine what is real. If they say a fake Banksy is real, it is real. If they say a real Banksy is fake, it is fake.

Third: I have confirmed that we had some small RR canvases back in the day at Santa's Ghetto. Will send you a message of one with provenance and Pest Control authentication.

I remember recreating some of the walls and there were certain pieces that were off sized and messed with the symmetry. Mosquito was the one that stood out in my memory, was 10x12 or something. There were a lot of 12 inch stencils, but only a few 10 inch stencils: mosquito was one, RR was another. Rat and Sword was even smaller.

I have never seen an 8x10 version in person (I recall 10x10), but the specific piece you have linked is pretty distinct and has been around for a while, passed through some respectable hands (I think Andipa may have had it a while back?) and based on images I would assume it is real. Again, that view is absolutely worthless.

Here is a 10x10 canvas from a couple years earlier, authenticated by PC. You can see the clear similarities. On these some of the key stencil elements to check are the feet, the "coil" from the headphones, the faces (which were hit with pretty thick white, over the wet red, and often deteriorated). A couple other tells.

That radar rat is just about as good as it gets for me.

Gives a real nostalgic flash back to when everything was a lot simpler, a lot smaller, and when there seemed so much potential and excitement about art in the streets.

It was such a buzz to spot the rats around London although, that said, I never felt they were worth the few hundred quid they were selling for as canvas editions. No regrets though as, until things started to blow up for him, it was just good times.

That Heady Topper is a very tidy beer too.
