Stik, by Art Collector 11 on Mar 2, 2023 4:47:40 GMT 1, These are beautiful pieces. Each of the five stamps are unique and almost have their our signature fingerprint in the way the stamps were made by Stik. This is a way, I believe, for individuals who later buy these pieces to know that they have a unique print by Stik. People such as myself who cannot be at the event but enjoy Stikโs print see these larger pieces as ones to have probably more than any other. I see the prices already on Ebay being rather high but I see them as only going even higher with time. Many of these were destroyed accidentally by the kids who made them and based upon what I have been reading only about 1,500 stamps were actually made.

Stik, by lukas01 on Apr 17, 2023 14:24:03 GMT 1, Ladies and gentlemen, I hope to find you well. I wanted to ask you a question... after reading the whole thread. Surely, Stik, he's not happy if those prints go on sale. I think so too. But what if they end up being given away? That is, if a mother ... who has more than one ... wants to give a piece to another person ... out of gratitude to the latter? What do you think? Understand that every human being is different and that everyone is right in a different way. But I believe that in this community there are people of other importance and that they will certainly be able to give me answers that are not contemplated in the greed of simple possession. Thank you.

I don't want to be different than who I am. I don't think I'm naive. Rather I think I'm always quite optimistic. Give me your opinion.

Stik, by Wanchope on Apr 17, 2023 18:40:55 GMT 1, Fair play to you Lucas. Personally I found it crass with this particular event that families were doing it with their kids and then selling on. It was supposed to be a fun family event but as usual greed takes over. I have two but I would never intend to sell them as they are my daughters and we had a great day out. Plus to be honest the paper and actual โartworkโ are hardly a fine piece of art and I donโt believe they were intended to be. Donโt change who you are and itโs refreshing to know others out there think on the correct lines. This comes from a perspective where I have made money from all sorts of investments ( and lost some too). Not everything in life should be profit and yes giving one away as a a pressie would be a great thing to do! Iโm sure stik would agree

Stik, by gus on Apr 17, 2023 21:23:08 GMT 1, Flipping is simply a part of life that one has to embrace.
You're filling your car with petrol that has been flipped a number of times before it hits your tank. Gas? same. Electicity? same. Food? same.
But oh no "I cannot believe the greedy parents that took their kids out for an incredibly fun day and chose to sell the print they made for 1/6th of the median gross average household savings in the UK" he posts from his artisanal mined cobalt powered electronic device.

Stik, by Wanchope on Apr 17, 2023 21:32:22 GMT 1, Sorry Gus, but thatโs an awful comparison. None of those were โflippedโ through the companies for a good reason or for some fun, just profit and I get it as we are all part of that world. Why make it for children only, there was a reason and Iโm 100% sure it wasnโt to line companies profit margins

Stik, by lukas01 on Jun 14, 2023 13:22:17 GMT 1, These are beautiful pieces.

Stik, by lukas01 on Sept 24, 2023 10:07:40 GMT 1, Lol. Just not having one leads you to write a world of inaccuracies? So Stik's publications on Instagram, including the photos found by his staff, and the destruction of the wooden molds have nothing indicative? Folly. LOL
Prices are falling. Except for a few rich ''young men'' due to family luck, or for having been lucky enough to have bought some Banksy for a few pounds (and resold for hundreds of thousands of pounds), all the rest no longer have the necessary liquidity to dedicate to art. The works of Sandra Chevrier, Pichiavo, Banksy, Seen, Quik, Stik and many others were not as successful as they were in the past. Auction values โโhave halved. Works sold directly by artists take many more days to sell. The world is going through a period of financial turmoil that ordinary people feel quite strongly. Those Stik Stamp works, are conceptual art of the artist and so he took them into consideration from the beginning. The stories published on Instagram make this clear. And then just ask Stik and he'll tell you the truth. He has done this before and responded very kindly to those who asked him. ๐
There are good people on this forum. Many enthusiasts. But also many who only believe in their perception of reality. The reality is different outside their minds. Too many are also very opinionated, presumptuous, foolish, that not even rich daddy's boys can match them.
As a final analysis, it must be added that the Crhistie's auction house sold a few weeks ago, six STIK STAMP works, signed and professionally framed, for only 24 thousand pounds. It seems obvious, that one of these unsigned and unframed prints cannot be worth more than ยฃ1000 at the moment. Especially on Ebay, where evaluating the condition of a work of art is very difficult.
www.christies.com/en/lot/lot-6436915
Later in time, these children will find a nice gift in their hands. My advice to their parents is not to sell the works. Many speculators could discredit those works and buy dozens and dozens of them.
And then those works belong to the children and not to their parents.
