I'm curious to see if Avant Arte reports to eBay that the item has a 2 year agreement. I think that would be fair, if the agreement is valid then they should try to make them respect it

I personally am not in favor of these contracts, the art world is full of everything, lovers, collectors, dealers, speculators. And this has always been. But if Avant Arte gets this agreement signed and says to make it respected then I expect these ads or sales of galleries and auctions to stop appearing.

Upon receiving the vases from our Italian producer, we identified variations and shared them with Ai Weiwei such as the line visible on the logo of your piece. After his review, he approved these differences to be considered part of the entire edition. The handcrafted nature of porcelain and glassware inherently introduces an element of unpredictability during firing, which is one of their unique and beautiful qualities. Ai Weiwei expressed that he finds these subtle imperfections enhance the work, much like the beauty of wrinkles on an elderly person's face.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a replacement since the entire edition includes similar maker's marks as those visible on your edition. If you still remain dissatisfied with your edition, we are prepared to arrange a return shipment. Upon delivery of the vase to our warehouse and inspection by our art handlers, we will promptly issue a refund. That looks fine to me.  All hand made glass has imperfections like that. 
But if you still don't want it, I will buy it off you for retail plus 10%

The scratches are beautiful, much like the wrinkles on an elderly person's buttock.

Never seen someone so distraught about making money flipping art.
That being said, I'd like to offer cost + 11% to smash the vase on live stream, and ship vase in said smashed state.

Mine had a line almost exactly like that and they took it back and swapped it.
Although I also had a message today saying the replacement isn’t perfect either and do I want it or a refund.
Some serious quality control issues with the manufacturer, clearly, but they’re trying to get out of it.

I’d disagree, it does clearly look like a flaw and there has obviously been an issue with QAQC,or the design process. This has been made evident with the changes and delays, especially if the whole edition is like this. 
There is no way that you would accept any other consumer product in this
condition, think a new car or item of furniture for example. These vases although below market, still were not cheap to purchase so the buyer has the right to expect a quality item.
Having said the above, I don’t think AA could really do much more than offer a full refund, especially since the holder did not have much patience for giving them time to try sort out an alternative.

LOL, not much patience, the vase arrived 3 months late because AA 'didn't want to compromise on the quality'. There was a lot that AA could have done but they chose to fob me off with BS, rather than hold their hands up to the delays and flaws. 

Sounds like they ran out of replacements for you. Though they did give people the opportunity to have a refund with the colour switch iirc. You can still get cost+ 1-2k GBP easy flip in this condition.
