IMO this print release is a flop… and does nothing for Parla’s career. Should have just released a show poster with this image for $10.

For me, this timed release allowed me to get a print by an artist I’ve always loved and the low edition number suits me too!

Personally I like these more than The Founders and nice that they’re signed on the front rather than a label on the back but it seems not everyone thought so.

My view is the flippers got burnt on the first release and we’re too worried about getting burned a second time. I don’t like timed editions as a rule, I don’t think they’re good for an artists career or collectors. But saying that I probably wouldn’t have been able to afford this if it was released as a limited edition of 380. So thank you Avant.
As a buyer, I’m very happy with the release number.
