Does anyone know if Orbi will take a look at prints to authenticate, I heard recently he helped identify a few fakes. I bought a print from original owner and even took out of the original POW tube with him, so know it's legit but being so long ago have no paper work. I'm trying to sell the print so looking to provide buyers with comfort. If studio won't authenticate, anyone else have any bright ideas? I know people used to email POW to authenticate but obviously that's off the table. Any help appreciated.

If not, maybe sell it through auction house, christies etc probably have a route of contact to confirm them. Possibly not how you want to sell it, but it gives the safety.

Try your luck with the space shop I sent an email months ago regarding auth a POW print and got a positive answer I dropped them an email, let's see if they come back. I've found an auction house who have sold quite a few who is willing to authenticate which should do the trick if they don't come back. Given values of his prints now it's a shame there aren't COAs yet. |

Personally Iโd have done the same if I bought from eBay and it wasnโt 100% spot on, especially if no way to authenticate. |

Anyway lesson learned It was and given, but being a tit I left the POW tube and receipt at my framers and it's long gone, the guy I bought from was also a well known collector who had been around since early POW days so had no issue buying at the time with the provenance he gave. Anyway I managed to get it authenticated so happy days. |
