Museum Voorlinden in Wassenaar, The Netherlands will present a large Anselm Kiefer exhibition. The exhibition will start on October 14th and last until February 25th 2024.

The cool thing about this exhibition is that Kiefer will use both the interior of the museum as well as the surroundings to show his art.

Anselm Kiefer - Museum Voorlinden , by its all about me on May 14, 2023 11:59:28 GMT 1, Anselm Keifer is one of my favourite artists. I saw a major exhibition of his in Paris (think it was the Pompidou Centre). He did a great show at the Royal Academy in London as well many years ago. Powerful stuff.

However, what can be seen inside is literally and figuratively impressive: due to the weight of some works of art (one weighs 10 tons), the floor of the museum had to be reinforced.

BUT, if I remember correctly they were unique prints (i.e. one of a kind) and therefore insanely expensive.

I think he brought out a multiple of one of his small aeroplanes once, didn't he? Not sure how many were made. I would love one of those.
