Ben Eine is real and has done more for street Art than anyone else I can think of in London & worldwide.He went out with Banksy doing works around Shoreditch in the early days. He has lived and had problems and survived to continue doing his thing. Iโm sure he has regrets too. Crack on Ben |

Fundraises for Macmillan, who he acknowledges as supporting him following diagnosis and through treatment. But sure, Eine is just protecting himself from flak and earning virtue points. FFS. |

Yeah Eineโs done some pretty scummy things in the past but heโs had his fair share of shit to deal with, and I donโt think itโs my place to judge. The fact is heโs still a pioneer of the graf scene in London, and for anyone who lived in the East End some of his murals are iconic. Certainly his Love and Hope works have wide appeal and I think could fit into most peoples collection. When you look at Stik, Thierry Noir, Invader, (even twats like Brainwash) all selling works for big money for me Eine if not for his personal issues Eine should be in the conversation with those guys, heโs an OG as well.

Although I like his art, I can't bring myself to buy one of his pieces when I know he punched his girlfriend in the mouth and didn't seem to care who saw either. If he does that in public then I wonder what else he gets up to behind closed doors where nobody can see.
Is he also the guy that rants and raves at people on his instagram page? Or am I thinking of someone else?

If you still want to stick with what people have done in the past, then youโd be surprised to know how many other artists have done not very nice things but still their work is legendary and still paid thousands of $.
Maybe you have some of their works at home and you donโt even know.
