I've started a Kickstarter to make an Invader enamel pin. None exist as far I'm aware so I've decided to try and make my own and would appreciate your support.
It's entirely not for profit and if there are any funds left over, I'll donate them to charity.
On top of the pin, I've already designed an invasion map, some stickers and a mini zine which I hope to continue after this project. I'll also be giving away some freebies too.

There’s a massive community of Invader fans that share home made maps, stickers, books and even invasion kits. Just because they love it. I wanted to support that and contribute myself if I could.
It’s purely out of admiration for the artist, with no intention of gaining anything from it.
But hey, it’s Kickstarter. If everyone thinks “Why oh why?” It won’t get made. I thought I’d take a chance because I think people might be slightly interested in my enthusiasm for an artist whose work I love.

But I have no intention of profiting from this and as I said, any additional funds would be donated to charity. I guess the easy thing to do re the OP is he could ask invader what he thinks. Just in case the fans here are going to just be part of pissing off the artist. Seems like the obvious and right thing to do here.

Shortly after, an email from Kickstarter saying they’re pausing the project. Which I imagine after a lengthy process, will mean a complete stop to this.
I thought this could be a possibility and I accept their decision. I have to respect the artists wishes. I hope this doesn’t come across as bitter but I do find it slightly ironic. The whole reason we’re here is because of the ethos “Don’t ask for permission, ask for forgiveness”. That’s what street art is.
I know morally my choice to make this project was plain and simply wrong. I think this forum opened my eyes to this more so than originally in my own head. As a fan, I just wanted to contribute to the community and I clearly made a massive misjudgement.
Apologies to everyone, especially the artist and those that supported me. I’ll look into the refund process for people that pledged and make sure that happens as quickly as possible.

This goes to show how corporate street art has developed and not allowing fans to celebrate artists amongst themselves.
TBH, it is a petty move from Invaders management as was clearly done not for profit.
I would have loved that Shoreditch map as I went Invader hunting last summer rather than tagging onto one of those rip off tours.

"While a project is still live you can cancel your pledge by visiting the project page and clicking the "Manage your pledge” button on the right-hand side. From there, click "Cancel Pledge" next to the "Change your pledge" link."
I have contacted them to make sure that when I cancel the project, everyone will get a refund but in the meantime, you can do the above and cancel your pledge to get a refund.
