There are three layers of glass within the frame. The cracked glass is held in place by being sandwiched in between the other two. Then the frame is reinforced by the backing board.
As every crack is different, the way the frames held together is slightly different too. Itโs been great watching Andrew putting these together.

it makes me remember - without any comparison - how Banksy played with frames and/or spots too in the cities or in his artworks. A discovery !!! Great ideas !!
