So this doesn't apply to illustrations such as this. As I said the edge of the close-up is changed in the zoom-out. What is happening here? The entire pipe disappears lol. They've generated the initial AI image, and then done an 'outpainting' to create a wider perspective, hence the inconsistency.

I said, "No mate, get that out of my face!" and tried to run, but he wouldn't have it. The geezer kept following me, thrusting this tenner at me, I said "No! I won't have it."
Then he asked whether I wanted to go down into the museum's basement to see the secret dimension-defying Banksy. I said basement? Lead on, mate.
Now I'm not saying any of this is real or not, I mean, who knows, right? I'm not saying either way, legally, but I would appreciate the attention, likes, and bids on my ebay stuff, I know that for sure.

Someone posted the picture on instagram... and Acme Thunderer posted it on the forum. Nobody said it was on Banksy's instagram profile. And I don't think that the various instagram profiles... have a return of notoriety for themselves... in bouncing Banksy's works and making him free publicity.
Banksy is not just prints to have on the wall. As far as I'm concerned, Banksy is a person to be supported in every way possible.🙂
We hope it's really something wonderful to see in Glasgow and that it's a Banksy artwork. 🤞

The progress of ai image generation has made gigantic steps in quality in just months. And it's super simple. I have no expertise but I just generated this in Midjourney. I guess the result would be a lot better if I knew tricks and prompts but I just used this:
/imagine prompt:boy in Banksy style in short trousers holding five ballons in a cellar with pipes and trash on the floor
It didn't follow my directions very well, but still...

Interesting to see the account it came from also, I hadn't seen it before but have seen the other fake Instagram profiles related to Banksy that do not make it clear that they are "fan"/"unofficial" sites.

Did Acme take the link from the cutandrun instagram profile?... I don't think so.
I can certify that the photo here in the forum... came out at least 60 minutes before the cutandrun published it.

I still kinda want Banksy to be revealed as the fella behind that book of traffic cone philosophy. But I just don't see Banksy and the Glasgow museum of modern art having a Banksy basement that they didn't have up and running in time for the show opening. A basement that they would then be willing to usher people down into, all while warning them not to look at the reality-altering pipes and brickwork, as it can hurt both the eyes and psyche.
