And by that I’m going to be having fantasies/nightmares the rest of my life of actually missing out on being in the right place and right time to be one of the good/smart/lucky ones. I can’t wait to see what the edition is, and then turn green with envy for everyone who got one, or had the bread to buy it off of an actual owner. Also the sense of dread I will have for the impending doom of the EBay flood of fakes and flips/ripoffs that will be posted shortly.

It would be great if they could find a way to reward the seller if they decide to sell it in the future. I think it would be beneficial if Banksy created a contract stating that a portion of the proceeds from any future sale should be donated to thebigissue ;-) |

I picked another flight for tomorrow. Stayed running in circles in the main streets, specially the usual selling points of the magazine,
I can say I made all efforts I could, but I didn’t win. Even steps in a more than reasonable quantity (tomorrow I’ll be half dead, and I’m traveling extremely soon).
In moments I felt disappointed. For hours (extremely) tired (honestly, I shouldn’t had done what I did). Sad, failure after failure.
But I feel good. I didn’t win, someone will and happy for him, but it is me one of the few who had been in a fucking treasure hunt by Banksy! (Yes, he knew sooner or later the word would spread and sales would rise)
So: it does help. Once known, many more big issues will be sold. He’s helping them to “learn fishing “

B) It is being closely administered by B & Co. I would expect that they bought the issues, placed the inserts inside, and then played the part of the Big Issue vendor - in the order of the men in the brown trench coats doing handouts at GDP. Remembering the name would be a bit of a red herring, but more amusingly, Mr. B may have been your vendor. Also, they could possibly be buying them, placing the insert, and then, after acting like they have read it/ finished it, giving it back to a vendor to sell or under some other premise (sneaking them into the pile while distracting the vendor or acting as though they are the distributor with more copies to be sold).
C) I am certain that B & Co. are doing something for the Big Issue team. Really, you think of that inequity and don't think B already contemplated it? God willing, the Big Issue sells out everyday for the next week or so.

Not a single Big Issue seller in their usual pitches today. I thought that was odd.
I would put money on it that they have been given the weekend off, paid for by B & Co so that the stooges can do the work, with security/secret cameras in place. And just like that the next Banksy video will be produced.

A) All 300 certificates weren't doled out today (pun intended). It will continue until the show closes.
B) It is being closely administered by B & Co. I would expect that they bought the issues, placed the inserts inside, and then played the part of the Big Issue vendor - in the order of the men in the brown trench coats doing handouts at GDP. Remembering the name would be a bit of a red herring, but more amusingly, Mr. B may have been your vendor. Also, they could possibly be buying them, placing the insert, and then, after acting like they have read it/ finished it, giving it back to a vendor to sell or under some other premise (sneaking them into the pile while distracting the vendor or acting as though they are the distributor with more copies to be sold).
C) I am certain that B & Co. are doing something for the Big Issue team. Really, you think of that inequity and don't think B already contemplated it? God willing, the Big Issue sells out everyday for the next week or so.

This! Not a single Big Issue seller in their usual pitches today. I thought that was odd. I would put money on it that they have been given the weekend off, paid for by B & Co so that the stooges can do the work, with security/secret cameras in place. And just like that the next Banksy video will be produced. |
