Blurry Mary FS AT COST + other goodies added, by Heavyconsumer on Apr 30, 2008 22:16:50 GMT 1, These are with the shipping company ready to be sent from Thailand, so I hope to have the piece in hand soon.
I have paid ยฃ275 for it and will happily sell to a forum member for cost plus shipping
I will also now consider offers for S+S and my Lucy M matching canvases (edition of 13) "Uncertainly Unsure" and "Televisual Mundane". All with appropriate gallery prov' and in mint condition. If you want to pay by Paypal I can arrange to use a friend's account for receipt of funds (mine is buggered), but I will expect you to add ยฃ10 to the total amount due to fees. I'd prefer wire transfer really with the costs shared (you pay your bank's charge for sending and I'll pay mine for receipt), or can take a cheque too. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Blurry Mary FS AT COST + other goodies added, by Heavyconsumer on May 2, 2008 0:03:12 GMT 1, In the last few weeks some unexpected costs have popped up, that I've helped family out with. I wrote to SOS over a fortnight ago asking if a refund would be possible and didn't hear back until writing again to someone else there more recently (can prove all this to buyer of course). It was too late by then as these were with the shipping company already (I believe the delays in shipping have all occured due to import tax avoidance issues). I will also be selling a couple of other pieces I've bought over the past year to raise some more serious funds, probably my unframed S+S and a couple of Lucy canvases. Basically I need cash right now for more pressing matters than art and still have other pieces to frame, so I dealt with the idea of cancelling this a while back and thus would rather lose this than something else.
There's no point this sitting in it'scrate when someone can enjoy it, hence offerring it at cost. Plus I've been quite vocal about flippers lately, so I don't want to be seen as a hypocrite really. I'd rather sell privately here than on ebay due to all the fees, plus I have no feedback as a seller, so may have issues doing so!

You're kidding! I had no idea. If that proves to be the case, I'll eat the postage costs, so it will really be at cost.
EDIT: Definitely says SOLD OUT.. www.souledoutstudios.co.uk/SOSPRINTS.html

Blurry Mary FS AT COST + other goodies added, by mocksy on May 2, 2008 0:49:57 GMT 1, I think these along with the so called 'poop boy' will get rave reviews once they are in hand.
The delay on the 'poop boy's' is that the boxes are getting hand made which will be great to see.
Blurry Mary cost a lot in production so i also think they will look a lot better once in hand.
Good luck anyway HC with sale but i would keep hold of it if i were you

Blurry Mary FS AT COST + other goodies added, by Heavyconsumer on May 2, 2008 2:16:25 GMT 1, Thanks Mocksy, if I didn't agree with you I wouldn't have bought it, but I could really do with the extra few hundred notes right now. I've bought this along with quite a number of other pieces in the last couple of months alone. If I had known then what I know now, I honestly would not have bought any of these, even though I love them all, some things are just more important than art. I have some of these pieces in Brazil already, so it makes sense to only let go of stuff that's in or arriving in the UK - I have a portfolio of stuff to pick up from London next time I visit - ordering to Brazil I do only very rarely as I haven't found a reliable way around the 60% import tax yet (any advice gratefully received). I want to keep everything I have, that's why I bought it, but as mentioned family comes first and the bank balance is lower than I feel comfortable with all of a sudden.
ยฃ275 + postage is the price for what will surely be a different and striking piece of art. I haven't seen the duratran yet, but when I ordered this I had email contact with the artist who thought that this could look cool mounted with backlights of some kind. Someone bite my hand off before I change my mind please!
Anyone can feel free to make me an offer for S+S by PM if they wish. I'm also looking to sell my Lucy M matching canvas editions of 13 - "Uncertainly Unsure" and Televisual Mundane" - for which I just rejected an offer. These are all unframed/unstretched. Sensible offers by PM will be considered.
THANKS!
