It reads like a piece of AI content. Weird indeed and really tenuous links to reach a conclusion. 

Same - just a shame that the bans/arguments have lost much of the knowledge that was deeply valued

The bit where the presenter got kicked out of the Beyond the Streets exhibition for mentioning Banksy was hilarious.


Maybe if there's a season 2 in the future someone will read out this comment in a funny accent. (I'd prefer an Ali G voice please). 

I listened all through in one hit and enjoyed it. He accepts he missed lots out and it seems to have taken some time to construct - Steph mentions talking to him over 1-2 years at one stage - but comes up to date. 

One thing that troubled me was the recollections of the 2006 Ghetto and the Flags release. The release was not on the first day (following a private view the night before) and the queue was not unruly. That sounds more like the CYW release at POW. The NBG queue was relatively calm too.  I was in all three queues and the Flags release was some days into the Ghetto being open - I went in every day as stuff was regularly added and was tipped off to the release by one of the regular POW guys after a few days. 

Maybe a bit of a distorted memory or some artistic licence or even a bit of obfuscation, as ever is the case in the artist’s story, but the inaccuracy stood out for me. 

It's over and they knew it, its only this place keeping the scene alive today.

I don’t think the quick flip dried up the conversation. For me it’s the lack of new exciting artists to replace the ones once big on here. No one wants to come around here and sell £75-£150 prints on here to build momentum like Mau Mau or Eelus. They all want the big money and recognition instantly.

In the episode where they talk about the people who who were creating fake Banksy’s and selling on eBay, I noticed they said one got charged and stop doing it, and the other continued to do it and now sell it as copy’s of his work as legal work around.

I'm in total agreement with storm breaker.  You've frequented here and not as a lurker.  Hold yourself to account (which really shouldn't be a problem, we thoroughly enjoyed the podcast...).
