I have to ask, why don’t you show the actual image and price? It seems a little shady not do so and you will prob get a better response with being transparent.

To be honest I kind of wanted him to say it because I know that’s why, but it’s stupid because at some point before sale he would need to share images and that person could go straight to the artist anyway…. I can’t stand these sale threads as clearly there is no love for the art, just the thought of I can make money and in this market that’s a really idiotic thought process. Love the art first, then in time sell unless you know 100% it’s a quick and easy flip

Do you know how many snakes in the grass live here?
I can’t speak for this seller, but I can tell you from personal experience this place is full of people trying to throw mud around.
Is it so hard to message someone to ask for a image and details in private?
Would you post your work on a public form where everyone will pick it apart and smear the thread with their hate?
This forum has allowed me to buy some really good works in the past.
At the same time I have seen numerous post where others put down a work or make fun of the thread as a whole. No wonder collectors are shy about what they show or say - welcome to the snake pit!! 

I'm prepared to throw down large sums for this, but only if you can get me the image behind the "NOT ACTUAL IMAGE" text. That's the one I want.
