Often folk will happily prefer the fantasy rather than the boring reality (except when it comes to paternity tests, biopsy results, and folk selling dodgy badges for hundreds of pounds).
Banksy works best when he's this fantasy, a lone, shadowy figure, running around, evading police, and doing so with a Bristolian accent, which is almost a disability really. That's a very recognisable accent.
