who knew that they were trying to develop a "culture mash" style of branding.
in current pop culture, the line between being a celebrity and being notorious is increasingly blurred.
in the end it doesn't really matter which side you are on- both achieve the same notoriety and similar places in the pop pantheon. fictional serial killers have moved from scary, repugnant outsiders to beloved anti heroes (think jason, fredie, hannibal lechter, etc...). so why not actual murderers on postage stamps?
bristolboy's objectification of the manson gang is a perfect example of this phenomenon.
he accepts and revels in their celebrity while disregarding the heinous nature of it's genesis.
once you are famous, or infamous, it no longer matters why...you are bound to attract groupies regardless.

That maybe so but Cautys products have been hit hard in the last 12 months. There's signed editions of 5 for ยฃ130 that haven't sold out on his new site.
However, His early Queens stuff is still highly desirable.
Stick 'em on ebay and you might get a surprise....either good or bad

I think he kept just pumping out more and more stamps with variable quality IMO and people started losing interest.
