Not sure about that, the vases are possibly the most iconic Ai WeiWei series.
Also there are 2200 finger sculptures vs. 300 vases. Letโs wait for the first few to hit the major auction houses but i canโt see these going for less than the middle finger sculptures.

If I remember correctly the fingers sold out within a few hours rather than days.
On the secondary, they were getting to the 10k, but then the glass edition killed any momentum.

As new artists emerge, AA will probably be the go to for innovative editions (unless the artist wants 2D dibonds).
It may be akin to being blacklisted by Pest Control in 2002.
