What price should I expect to pay for a Faile box?, by bobbymeachamjr on May 2, 2008 15:40:36 GMT 1, The size you referenced 50cm x 40cm x20cm went for avg of 14K gbp each at auction. They were both monotone.
Laz had some of these @this size @ยฃ8K+VAT a while ago. Expect to pay between these 2 reference #s (8k-14K) depending on the quality of images and/or execution / colors etc
The extra large boxes are 50cm x 50cm x 30cm. Minimum of 10K gbp (prob for a monotone). Nice full color ones much more than 10K gbp as you're getting 4 full sides of beauty...

Everyone one's entitled to their own opinion - but I think you're cuckoo in the coconut if you really think this. Some of the boxes are really nice, but nothing compares their canvases imho.

But if you pay 20k for one and things drop ...holy jesus...

Not saying its a good or bad idea to buy one of these investment wise. All im sayin is that a wealthy art collector can fart out 20k.
