Portland (Oregon) Art Recommendations, by Ghoul Bones Jones on Sept 7, 2023 16:07:27 GMT 1, I'm visiting Portland this weekend to visit an old friend and would love to get out and see some art. Given Portland's reputation I have to imagine it has a pretty robust street art scene. I'd love any and all tips about murals to see, museums worth checking out, or even galleries to pop by. Thanks in advance!

Murals abound downtown (there's a Michael Reeder above bamboo sushi on harvey milk for example).
There is also a good amount on NE Alberta, SE Division, around the SE industrial zone (and a bunch of galleries). Burnside Skatepark is always, erm, interesting..
Portland Art Museum is pretty large, the contemporary section has Hirst, Warhol, the usual suspects really.
Antler Gallery is decent depending what is going on.
I moved away a few months ago so i am not 100% current.. if you need any specifics, shout.
